We are pleased to report another judgment on behalf of a product liability victim, this time involving food poisoning. Our client visited a Taco-Bell franchise on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island in April, 2014 , ordered and ate 3 “loaded grillers” (unfortunately, well-named in this case). A little later he experienced the onset of continuous vomiting and diarrhea that lasted for hours. He visited an emergency room and was unable to do much or work for a couple of days. The company’s insurer refused to accept responsibility, so we took the matter to the Superior Court for Providence County in Rhode Island and have obtained a judgment for a little more than $14,000.00. (Name withheld v. L/M Taco RI., Inc d/b/a Taco Bell) (September 28, 2016).
